So, I was standing out there smoking with a common menace in Indian cities – monkeys running amok.
They’re a real menace. The government does nothing about them. Part of the general chaos in India and they often bite folks etc since they’re used to being fed and you gotta be careful – they can be feral. 12 shots for a bite!
Couple of girls passed by. Young, gorgeous Indian women.
They looked at me from a distance.
I kept smoking …
One came close and stared at me, hanging on to the other girls arms
in that cute manner girls have. My!
I got it.
Monkeys!
They were scared.
I got that too, though they didn’t need to be because they had no food or bags with them. Reminded me of Carol, who used to jump behind me when we hiked together at night to avoid the numerous frogs jumping at her. Girls. Just too cute!
“Just go”, I smiled reassuringly. “You ain’t got no food on you. You’ll be fine , they won’t do a thing!”..
They looked at me anxiously and giggled.
And walked on past.
That was the extent of it.
But it felt great!
Reminds me of the time another Indian lady once claimed I was very brave for walking right past and aggressive monkey in Twilight right outside my doorstep.
“Nah”, I laughed. I barely saw the monkey!.
And I hadn’t, in fading light perhaps a silhoutte but that’s it.
“But you’re still ..”, she giggled.
I smiled back.
It’s about protecting women over all.
Later at night I’m lying there in bed thinking of Bhagwati, and the other two, how I’d gladly offer my bed to them and rub their, or probably Bhagwati s feet while they relax.
True masculinity is not about simping, rubbing her feet and putting on dresses for her and all that.
Not about bragging about the number of women you’ve been with, and I’mno slouch there.
It’s about male essence.
Protecting her.
Fighting for her as opposed to silly white knight behavior females can see right through and do not respect.
Vibe.
We don’t know each other, but I guarantee you those two girls are thinking about that “strong silent guy” out there today.
So they should. so should I. And I am.
It’s about making her happy overall.
Do it whichever way works.
And she will respect you forever.
