Said in a deferential tone in India it signifies respect, willingness to do what the other person asks without question – and a lot of the social class BS in India plays into it too.
Nandini maam said it a lot too!
Of course, that was before they both got well and truly into their real roles which they always knew. Hehe.
And as I write about real femdom – well, I say that too- in situations I never have to!
People look at me scandalized when i squat like a servant on the road – I do it for health benefits of course, but as actual maids pass by , ONE bangle on their hands gleaming like with Bhagwati Devi, they dont get it!
The superior upper class is not meant to squat like that.

It makes it so much sexier, and every time I reply like that to someone even when I don’t need to, shouldn’t, i remember Bhagwati, how I so follow her, learn from her daily…
