I’ve written galore before my friend, about how Indian ladies, ladies from the subcontinent have the broadest feet ever sometimes! Especially those that are on the bigger side, and there are a lot – wearing that lovely salwar which is so tight at the ankle, shows NOTHING but the foot – literally – and what a foot it can be!

Anyway – so there she was in the park!
with a yelling kid in tow – who she promptly fobbed off to an African looking guy next to her.
Take care of him, BOY! She might as well have yelled. Hehe. Because after fobbing kid off on dude, she took off enjoying herself on her lonesome in the warm sun outdoors … and parked herself on a bench right behind me (I was doing 500 pushups as I do daily).
My, those feet though!
(and, she so reminded me of a certain Princess Sophia!)
Even from a distance, I noticed that although the lady was swathed in multiple layers of clothing, the FEET was shod in lovely sandals, and bare.
Reminds of a joke a lady on an Indian radio channel “Radio Mirchi” once made about Delhi winters – she was directing it at women in general.
“Aapne Moje naji pehne fashion ke vajah to kya meri galti hai?”
You never wore socks on your feet for the sake of fashion, so it’s not my fault they’re freezing to death, she was saying.
And she was right – hehe.
With this lady, she wasn’t freezing at all.
But like with another younger girl I saw today barefoot, but this older lady – my word, so superior, those feet – if those lovely feet were freezing I’d put them in lap and rub them with oil for hours as long as she wanted!
You know what was different about today – it didnt even happen from a distance.
As I was literally shaking throughout my workout looking at those FEET – she stood up – and came and stood next to me.
OH MY!
Literally, I was doing pushups, and she was close I could have probably craned my neck out and kissed each lovely toe, not painted, but the nails so lovely and pedicured, no dust underneath them.
And I gave up all pretense of not staring, I was just STARING at those feet!
And thinking so many things, Madam caught on to it I’m sure.
And if she had asked me, or if she wasn’t on the phone, I’d tell her her feet were really beautiful!
I hope I see her out there again. I’ll gladly kiss her feet in public like I keep affirming so much!
